Stryder J. Wegener

Stryder was admitted to practice law in Washington State in 2004.  He graduated from the University of Washington in 2001 with a BA in Spanish and Psychology, and  received his Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in 2004.

After graduating from law school Stryder worked at the YWCA of Pierce County in the legal services department as a staff attorney.  He represented primarily Spanish speaking victims of domestic violence in legal matters ranging from criminal hearings, to protection order hearings and dissolutions.

Following this he took a job with the Redford Law Firm, where he continued to further hone his courtroom experience.  He joined the law offices of Gehrke and Wegener in 2008.  Stryder is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English.

In 2010 Stryder was a lecturer at the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar & Criminal Law Section’s annual Criminal Law seminar, where along with David Gehrke he presented “Uncertainty in Scientific Evidence in DUI Cases.”

After moving to Seattle at the age of eight, Stryder has never left.  He enjoys spending time with his daughter, and is both a loyal fan of the Washington Huskies, and a season ticket holder for the Seattle Seahawks.
